Description
This 1,290.5 hour Paramedic Program
allows you to test with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
and then apply for state certification. It
follows the 2011 National EMS Education Standards.
The program hours are divided into three-phases: 672 hours of
intensive, classroom and lab training at the INHS Health Training Facility, three days a week from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The second phase is a minimum of 258.5 hours of supervised hospital
clinical time, and the third phase is a field internship which consists of a minimum of 360 hours working with an approved paramedic preceptor. Clinical rotations and field
internships are available at a number of approved locations around Washington and Northern Idaho.
The success of the program and its training is reflected in a 100% pass rate on the National Registry Exam for Paramedics, which has been maintained since the inception of the program in 2012.
Credentials obtained: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric
Advanced Life Support, and Prehospital Trauma Life Support.

Please know your first step in applying for enrollment is to register and pay for the Paramedic Course Candidate Application Fee. You may do so by clicking here. After registration and payment, an application will be emailed to you. Applications may be submitted prior to completion of the required pre-requisites to include Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology. Acceptance into the course is contingent upon successful completion and a passing grade of C+ or better.
