This 45-hour Paramedic Refresher Course is designed to assist paramedics in maintaining up-to-date proficiency in critical knowledge and skills pertinent to providing emergency care in the field. The program adheres to the refresher program standards set forth by the U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Registry of EMTs NCCP model. Participants will complete 20 hours of distributive education prior to the 25 hours in class skills. These materials will be sent to the student after they have registered for the course. Students must complete all content to be eligible to attend required in-person class portions.
Paramedics seeking to maintain their skills and certification for National Registry must complete 45 hours of continuing education in specific subject areas every two years. This 3-day in person course conveniently meets the 45-hour requirement for National Registry re-certification.
