INHS Health Training Gains National Accreditation for Paramedic Program
April 22, 2015
Spokane, WA

Inland Northwest Health Services (INHS) Health Training recently received its official accreditation for their Paramedic Program by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

"The expertise available by our trainers is exceptional," said Emily Fleury, director of INHS Health Training and Community Wellness. "We are proud of the curriculum we've been able to create that ensures graduates have the tools and skills they need to be successful."

Accreditation assesses the quality of the program and the services offered. Students are assured that the program meets or exceeds the standards set by accreditation. The two-year accreditation process allowed students and staff to train under a "Letter of Review" while taking the steps necessary to meet the standards set by the CAAHEP.

Since first offering the program in 2012, INHS Health Training has held four Paramedic Program classes with 55 students. Students that elect to take the National Registry Test (NREMT-P) have a 100 percent pass rate, demonstrating the caliber of the INHS program.

"INHS Health Training graduates are the next generation of first responders and health care professionals," Fleury added. "They are making real impacts on those in need. Our staff is proud to be part of this journey in furthering their medical training."

The next Paramedic Program available at INHS Health Training begins April 27, 2015 with enrollment now available. To learn more about the program, please visit: .
