PHTLS is a nationally recognized continuing education program for rehospital emergency health professionals that focus on the care of trauma patients.
There are two Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) courses offered; one for the advanced EMT (Intermediate and Paramedic) and one for the basic EMT. This intensive course is an in-depth explanation of the prehospital aspects of trauma care, with emphasis placed on rapid resuscitation of the patient and transfer to the hospital.

Renewal Course

- Must be a current PHTLS provider with proof demonstrated prior to class
